Most therapists never study pet-loss grief, and some may (unknowingly) minimize the pain. Our specialists live and breathe this work, ensuring you feel seen rather than dismissed. Typical grief isn’t a mental health disorder, but when it’s ignored, it can grow into one. Meeting with someone who gets it can keep your healing healthy.
What it is:
-
A 50-minute private video session on Google Meet. Your booking confirmation includes your secure link, and your specialist will join promptly at the scheduled time.
-
Flexible and client-led. Share your story, process emotions, ask questions, or sit in quiet reflection—there’s no preset agenda or pressure to perform.
-
Guided by an experienced pet-loss grief specialist. Each facilitator is trained in companion-animal bereavement, so you’ll never have to justify why your grief matters.
-
A judgment-free space. Expect compassion, validation, and practical coping tools—never advice, lectures, or time limits on your healing.
-
Completely private. One secure link. One caring specialist. No group observers.
What it's not:
-
Not therapy or counseling – we offer emotional support and grief education, but we do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
-
This is not a crisis service. If you feel unsafe about your thoughts, please contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
-
Not a quick fix. Grief takes time—this is a space for comfort and connection, not instant closure.
-
Not time-limited programming – book sessions only when needed; no packages or memberships are required.
